A celebration of achievements
Integration Support Services held its 5th Annual General Meeting on Friday 30th of September where they celebrated the achievements of a national award ‘PQASSO Level 2’ and also recognised the contributions of volunteers and other partners on supporting charities aims and projects.
The meeting was attended by a large number of partners and supporters from across Essex and Hertfordshire who had the chance to know more about the services that ISS has provides and also the challenges that the charity is facing with the reduced resources and an increased demand for the services.
The guest speaker of the meeting Richard Howitt Labour Member of the European Par lament for the East of England emphasised the importance of ISS work as well as the importance of migrants to have a voice and be represented in local and regional level.
Richard Howitt did present certificates of awards to ISS volunteers and praised their contribution and commitments to make a positive change in the local community.
The meeting was supported by Lord Petre, Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant for Essex and Harlow MP Robert Halfon who presented the PQASSO Level 2 award to the Chief Executive of ISS Mimoza Matoshi.
