Outreach support service for ethnic minorities, refugees, migrants and other isolated communities in the Harlow, Epping, Uttlesford and surrounding areas.

Drop-ins – weekly drop-in sessions are available in Harlow office at 2 Wych Elm, Harlow, CM20 1QP, providing 1-to-1 support and guidance relating to employment, education, benefits, access to healthcare, race and discrimination issues and more, for migrant and BME communities. Similar service is provided during Activities for Families and Children in the Spangles centre.

Weekly Saturday family  sessions at the Treehouse Sure Start Centre, Staple Tye, from 10:30am until 2:30pm. These sessions provide a range of educational and fun activities for families with children. The outreach support is provided as well.

ESOL classes in Epping Forest area Limes Farm Junior School in  Chigwell- for beginners to learn and improve English. 2 hours session every week. Crèche is also available prior to booking. Other sessions will start from September.

Story telling/ book reading- new venture for ISS- where our staff member reads for children and allows them to use their own imagination through the stories from many countries and cultures.

Polish classes for children - In partnership with The Salvation Army we are offering a classes for Polish children to help them to read and write in Polish language.
The project also aims at parents to give them support and advice on living in a new country. Classes take place in the Salvation Army in Harlow and also in the Abbotsweld Primary School.
